Are you a detail-driven, process-focused professional ready to take the lead in a high-impact accounting role? We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Administrator to join our energetic corporate team and play a key role in supporting our growing multi-location dealership operation.

This role serves as the cornerstone of our Accounts Payable department, managing the full-cycle AP process and ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate payment operations across all locations. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead by example-bringing structure, initiative, and expertise to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What You'll Do:

Oversee and process high-volume accounts payable across multiple dealership locations
Lead daily AP operations, ensuring invoice accuracy, timely entry, and payment processing
Match, verify, and audit purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
Perform general ledger coding and reconciliation
Manage vendor relationships: establish, maintain, and resolve payment or invoicing issues
Prepare and process vendor check runs and ACH payments in line with company policy
Maintain and validate vendor files including TINs, W9s, and 1099s
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Support internal and external audits with thorough documentation and process controls
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure swift issue resolution and workflow improvements
Contribute to month-end close and assist with reporting and accruals
Maintain up-to-date vendor database and uphold internal controls
Drive continuous improvement within AP workflows

What You Bring:

3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
Experience in a multi-location and high-volume environment
Strong knowledge of general ledger coding and financial auditing
Dealership experience is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Highly organized, self-starter, with sharp analytical thinking
Experience with modern accounting or dealership software
Understanding of AP internal controls and best practices
Accounting degree preferred, but not required
