Job Description:

* External marketing- performs and directs the work of the economic development organization, including business development through external marketing * Internal marketing- maintains good working relationships with other development agencies, allies, planning organizations, and private firms, to assist with business prospects, and reports prospect activity to the Board of Directors and VEDC's contract partners * Public relations/negotiations- assists with new and existing business, in resolving infrastructure problems, incentive discussions, legislative issues, etc., while representing VEDC, the Port of Victoria, City of Victoria, and Victoria County * Research/marketing materials- directs research activities for special projects and specific clients/prospect requests, as well as publication of promotional materials that promote the area's business climate and VEDC's mission * Experience in sales/client management is a plus * Experience managing social media accounts is required * Other duties, as assigned by the President of VEDC For more details, please view the job profile here: www.thenextmovegroup.com/victoria
