Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a maternity leave contract
position serving middle school students in grades 6-8 within a K-12
educational setting. This role requires an itinerant clinician to
provide specialized speech and language services across two
campuses in the San Antonio, TX area. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
individualized speech-language therapy to a caseload of
approximately 100 students. Manage service delivery across two
middle schools, tailoring interventions to meet diverse student
needs. Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate
therapy goals within the academic environment. Conduct assessments
and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district
guidelines. Uphold all professional licensing and credentialing
requirements, including background checks and fingerprinting.
Qualifications and Experience: Hold a current and valid
professional license in Speech Language Pathology (CCC). Experience
working with school-aged children, preferably in grades 6-8.
Ability to manage itinerant caseload across multiple sites
effectively. Strong communication skills and the capacity to
collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility to work
approximately 30 hours per week on a part-time schedule. Additional
Details: Location: San Antonio, TX (Garner Middle School and Wood
Middle School) Contract Duration: March 31, 2026, through May 29,
2026 Compliance with time-sensitive credentialing processes is
mandatory prior to start. Prescreen interviews will be scheduled;
candidates should provide availability for morning or afternoon
sessions (9-11 AM and 2-3 PM EST). This opportunity offers the
