Job Description:
Summary of Position: The Facility Operator is responsible for
assisting in the operations on Saltwater Disposals and Water Wells.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: The following represents most of
the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or
prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees
are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and
safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies. As a
Facility Operator, you will be responsible for: Conducting daily
facility operations. Performing daily facility reports. Checking
loads to ensure fluid is acceptable for disposal. Cleaning out SWD
filter baskets on the pumps. Conducting daily inspection of
equipment and facility operating functions. Ensuring compliance
with HSE policies and saltwater disposal requirements. Gauging
Tanks. Maintaining up to date meter readings and compiling
information onto daily reports. Maintaining a clean and safe
environment. Monitoring water levels at site to ensure tanks are
within their operating parameters. Monitoring and account for skim
oil volumes removed from facility. Performing preventive and
corrective maintenance daily. Keeping track of pump pressures.
Monitoring drivers for proper procedures and the use of personal
protection equipment (PPE). Reporting safety/environmental issues
to management. Understanding and adhering to all Safety and
Environmental rules and regulations. Performing any other tasks
assigned by a supervisor as the need arises. Qualifications &
Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED. A valid
driver’s license with an insurable driving record is required. At
least 1 years of experience working on saltwater disposal sites is
required. Must be able to use technology and digital tools (iPhone,
computer programs, etc.). Live in Kenedy, Pearsall and/or Tilden,
TX, or within a 50-mile radius from Kenedy, Pearsall, or Tilden, TX
required. Company-paid housing will be provided during your working
shift. Working Conditions/Environment: Operates in a field
environment. May be subject to environments that are extreme in
nature, such as heat, cold, etc. The physical demands described
here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the
functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is occasionally required to: Standing,
walking, or sitting for prolonged periods. Walking on uneven and
vegetated terrain. Working at heights up to 35 feet as needed.
Climbing steps at a 45-degree angle up to 35 feet. Use hands to
handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and
arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk
or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up
to 50 pounds and must be able to carry a self-contained breathing
apparatus if needed. Specific vision abilities required by the job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Position
Type: This is a full-time position. 10/4 (10 days on 4 days off),
5/2 (5 days on 2 days off) Rotational Schedule Depending on the
rotational schedule, must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
