Sr. Environmental Engineer - Air
The Senior Environmental Engineer - Air is responsible for
environmental data applications, tools, and processes with a focus
on environmental reporting support at the company's manufacturing
facility.
A Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Attributes
Be part of a team providing environmental support and assistance to
company's manufacturing facility in TX. The position reports to the
Environmental Manager. Responsibilities include transforming and
innovating environmental tools, compliance reporting, communication
of environmental requirements, managing / resolving constraints,
change management, compliance assurance, and training.
- The ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a
time-sensitive fast paced environment
- The ability to organize, prioritize, and own multiple tasks
while meeting and/or exceeding deadlines
- Strong communication skills and proven success in communicating
effectively with all levels
- Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision and as
part of a team
- The ability to visualize "outside the box" solutions to complex
problems, and lead others toward change
- Leads transformational and innovative initiatives that advance
operational vision with a principled entrepreneurial mindset
- Capable of developing knowledge in several air program areas as
well as programs in other media
- Drive a culture of environmental excellence
Above all you will be expected to carry out all your activities
with integrity, compliance, and in a safe and efficient manner.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Manage multiple compliance programs
- Develop tools and templates while ensuring consistency in
program compliance management
- Supporting reasonable inquiry, reporting, and compliance
management processes through validating data, building, and running
data queries and reports, managing environmental share drives,
SharePoint sites, etc.
- Driving continuous improvement through integration with
site-wide processes, "right-sizing" tools, eliminating data
management redundancy, and ensuring controls are in place for
critical environmental data, and improving environmental
information management and reporting activities
- Ensure program requirements are understood and sustainable
through the development of rigorous, robust, and integrated
compliance systems
- Perform periodic self-assessments and participate in audits to
verify compliance and system effectiveness
- Perform required inspections and field reviews for maintaining
compliance with permits and regulations
- Ensure that all deadlines are met for the site Compliance Plan
and Periodic Reports

Requirements
The Experience You Will Bring:
- A Bachelor of Science degree
- 7+ years of experience in an industrial / manufacturing
setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, SharePoint Online, Excel, ASPEN,
PI, SEEQ
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to work on job sites in the field
- Must be able to climb stairs in operating unit
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions
for various periods of time
- Must be willing to workdays in excess of 8 hours
periodically
- This role is subject to a pre-hire physical abilities test
