Service Technician Corpus Christi, TX $32.00 - $38.00/hr A leading
provider of industrial solutions is seeking an experienced Senior
Compressor Systems Service Technician to join our team in Corpus
Christi, TX. As a key member of our field service team, you will be
responsible for providing on-site repair, maintenance, and
troubleshooting services for a variety of compressed air equipment.
Responsibilities: Perform mechanical and electrical repairs,
maintenance, surveys, and commissioning of compressed air
equipment. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues reported
by customers. Conduct courtesy calls to customer sites on days
without scheduled service jobs. Collaborate with Account Managers
and management to increase service and aftermarket revenue. Travel
to assist other Technicians as needed. Represent the company
professionally and provide excellent customer service. Work
independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong
problem-solving and decision-making skills. Specific tasks include:
Removing, rebuilding, and replacing valves. Removing and replacing
pipe spools. Performing electrical tests using a voltmeter.
Programming and troubleshooting microprocessor and PLC-based
equipment controls. Climbing and working on scaffolding. Completing
daily reports using a computer. Dumping and loading air dryer
desiccant. Additional Tasks: Learn and be able to start up and
troubleshoot company-supplied packages. Be a technical resource to
customers over the phone. Although the vast majority of jobs are
on-site at the customer, be able to set up and perform some
repairs/rebuilds in-house. Qualifications: High school diploma or
equivalent. 4 years of proven experience in repairing and
maintaining compressed air equipment, with a focus on desiccant
dryers, rotary screw compressors, and centrifugal compressors.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Excellent
problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work
independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and
customer service skills. Willingness to travel and work flexible
hours. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
