Job Description Job Description STEEL DETAILER/ CHECKER Monday –
Thursday, half-day on Friday 6:30 am - 4:30 pm; 6:30 am - 12:00 pm
Pay DOE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Communicate with the Project
Manager and Production to ensure the highest quality product in the
most efficient manner. Accommodate the customer in a way that
ensures the relationship and increases reliability. JOB
REQUIREMENTS Experience in Structural Steel estimating. Excellent
verbal and written communication. Proficient in Computer skills,
such as Word, Excel, AutoCad, and Strumis. Experience in SDS2 is a
plus. Produce complete sets of structural drawings (Erection
drawings and detailed Fabrication drawings). Check and coordinate
steel drawings with other trades. Able to read and understand
blueprints and contract plans. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in
the steel industry.
