Job Description:

We are CURRENTLY seeking a phenomenal Maintenance Engineering Intern to join our team! This role will be working closely with our Maintenance Engineering team and is a great opportunity to gain work experience in the manufacturing field. The Maintenance Engineering Intern will support the development of a more proactive, data-driven maintenance organization. This role will focus on inventory optimization, CMMS data improvement and reliability-driven initiatives to improve equipment uptime, reduce maintenance costs and enhance overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities You will: Analyze inventory levels, usage trends and stock accuracy to identify opportunities for inventory optimization and cost reduction. Support implementation and improvement of min/max levels, reorder points and inventory organization. Assist in improving CMMS data quality, including parts, asset hierarchy and failure code accuracy. Support Root Cause Analysis investigations for equipment failures and document corrective actions. Lead or support continuous improvement projects with a focus on enhancing preventive maintenance effectiveness. Present findings, recommendations, and project results to maintenance and plant leadership at the conclusion of the internship. Skills Knowledge and Expertise Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Self-motivated with ability to take ownership of projects and drive results.
