SummaryWe are hiring an Executive Director-RN.ResponsibilitiesThis position serves as the Administrator of the home health provider and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations.

• Supervises and ensures high-quality patient care services throughout the episode of care. This includes overseeing referral coordination, continually assessing patient needs, and developing, implementing, and updating the patient's individualized plan of care. Ensures coordination with physicians, families, and other clinicians involved in care as appropriate.
• Communicates effectively with staff through staff meetings, case conferences, and mandatory in-services to ensure they are informed.
• Supervises patient care to ensure the delivery of safe, economical, and efficient care that adheres to relevant standards, including federal and state regulations, Joint Commission standards, payer source criteria, and LHC policies. Ensures patient care is provided according to the physician's plan of care.
• Oversees survey readiness activities, actual surveys, and ensures plans of correction are developed, implemented, and monitored.
• Monitors and assesses employee performance regularly using clinician scorecards and annual performance evaluations.
• Ensures only qualified personnel are hired by overseeing licensure verification, certification, and credentialing as required by law and policy, prior to employment and annually thereafter.
• Assists with staff recruitment to maintain adequate staffing levels within the staffing model.Education and ExperienceRequirements:

• Registered nurse with supervisory experience in home healthcare.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.Additional State Specific Requirements
  • TX: Must not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor listed in Tag 97.601(b). May be the supervising nurse of the agency if meeting specific qualifications.
