***Registered Nurse- TICU Graduate-FT*** Seeking teachable,
growth-oriented RNs to work in a TEAM environment where EVERY nurse

Registered Nurse. Provides direct patient care including
treatments, activities, nourishment, drugs, and parenteral therapy
in a safe and competent manner to the medical, cardiac or surgical
patient. Carries out physician orders to insure patient care is
complete. Abides by policy and procedure of hospital and
established routines to assure quality care is provided. Gives
patient assignments and supervises care of others when in charge.We

TICU team members provide direct patient care including treatments,
activities, nourishment, drugs, and parenteral therapy safely and
competently to the medical, cardiac, or surgical patient. Carries
out physician orders to ensure patient care is complete. Abides by
policy and procedure of the hospital and established routines to
assure quality care is provided. Gives patient assignments and
supervises the care of others when in charge. THIS bedside nursing
role allows for variety, education, and growth opportunities for
the NEW nurse, as well as TENURED nurses interested in optimizing
the patient experience while staying busy and honing skills. Please

motivated, self-starter, who appreciates efficiency and order with
an ability to confidently make decisions regarding patient care. An
OR nurse will provide care for patients prior to, during, and after
invasive surgery or medical procedures. They also work with the
patient's family members by relaying information that could be of
importance to them. If you are a confident and capable RN who
enjoys a detailed environment focusing on the case at hand, while
providing care to multiple patients throughout your shift, then our

families healthy.Job Duties:
- Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents
nursing care
- Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
- Performs various patient tests and administers medications
within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care
goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions,
medications, and self-care skills
- Relies on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks
and accomplish goalsMinimum Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an
accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in
Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
- American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification required upon hire.--
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within 90 days of
hire.--
- TNCC required within one year of hire
- A minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in an acute care
setting--preferred--
