Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in Maternal Care is responsible for caring
for laboring, postpartum patients, and newborns, including
interpreting fetal monitoring and recognizing fetal or neonatal
complications. Provides total patient care, triage, medical
screening, and treatment for unscheduled pregnant patients. Must be
compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to patient satisfaction
and education for new parents. Collaborates effectively with team
members and contributes to problem-solving. Requires at least 1
year of nursing experience, an Associate Degree in Nursing, Kansas
Nursing License, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, Neonatal
Resuscitation, and fetal monitoring. Preferred qualifications
include a BSN, advanced certifications, and additional neonatal or
fetal monitoring credentials.
