Job Title: CT Technologist Registered Profession: Tech Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Thursday - Friday & Saturday - Sunday Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience preferred License: State Licensure required - MRT Certifications: Radiography (R) by ARRT, Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB, Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB required Must-Have: Basic computer experience required Description: The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist will perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. They will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed. The CT Technologist will help facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. They must demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other locations as needed. The CT Technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance. They will participate in quality assurance and resolve issues related to image processing and the archiving system. Participation in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances is expected. The CT Technologist will adhere to and maintain expected imaging competencies. Behavior and communication skills must align with the organization's mission and values. Performs examinations as needed to assist in patient throughput. Demonstrates flexibility by working other shifts and locations as needed. Ensures completed exams are scanned and stored correctly. Follows downtime procedures and escalates issues as needed. Troubleshoots and reports equipment malfunctions to management and/or biomedical personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.
