TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Corpus Christi, Texas, 78411! Pay Information $1,614 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute med/surg/tele experience within the last year License: RN License required Certifications: Required certifications include RN Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 1 years of acute med/surg/tele experience within the last year Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time Description: This position involves the care of intermediate care patients. Standard nursing skills required include IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance. Medication administration and communication with all members of the care team are essential. Documentation in electronic health record systems is necessary. Skills in continuous bladder irrigation, NGT insertion and maintenance, EKG interpretation, and titration of certain drips are also required. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly, positive demeanor with a patient-centered and team-focused approach.
