Job Description:

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Required Basic Life Support Certifications: ARDMS or CCI Registered in Vascular Technology required, Echocardiography preferred Must-Have: - Vascular registry required - Echo registry preferred - Experience performing echocardiograms, vascular studies, and stress echos Description: Performs echocardiograms including TEE and intraoperative studies. Performs vascular studies with oversight from a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist possessing RVT or RVS registry. Conducts stress echos, TCDs, and TCOMs as applicable. Performs EKGs, stress tests, holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Covers call as needed, noting that registry-eligible technologists may not cover call for vascular studies. Assists with clerical and reception duties as necessary. Completes all documentation associated with the aforementioned responsibilities. Maintains continuing education requirements. Keeps all areas stocked and neat in appearance, participating in the cleaning of equipment. In the absence of a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist Supervisor, assumes their responsibilities.
