Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapy Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Must have TX state license Certifications: None specified Must-Have: EMR experience with Web PT for outpatient and Trubridge EMR for inpatient Description: This position requires a physical therapist to work 8-hour days. The role is primarily focused on outpatient care, but requires inpatient coverage on Mondays and as needed based on patient load. The therapist will be off on major holidays. The working environment is an outpatient clinic within a hospital setting. There is also a swing bed inpatient setting with a maximum of 24 beds. Patients are seen one-on-one in the outpatient setting. Typical staffing includes 2.5 full-time physical therapists in the outpatient area and one full-time physical therapist for inpatient care. Professionals are expected to wear black pants or scrub pants along with a collared shirt. Facial jewelry is not allowed; however, tattoos are permitted as long as they do not display any vulgarity.
