Job Description Join a growing, innovative cancer center just steps from the hospital The Opportunity DeTar Healthcare System and Victoria Cancer Center are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a thriving outpatient-only practice in Victoria, Texas. Just a two-minute walk from DeTar Hospital Navarro, our cancer center opened its doors three years ago and is expanding to meet growing patient demand. This is an employed opportunity with a competitive compensation package and no call responsibilities. Practice Highlights Outpatient only Clinic schedule: – Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM – Friday: Half day No call / No weekends State-of-the-art equipment: – Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator – PET/CT Scanner – Aria EMR Newly renovated space: – 2 dedicated exam rooms for Radiation Oncology – Soon expanding to 14 infusion bays Support team: – 2 Hematology/Oncology physicians – 2 MAs, Receptionist – Contracted Dosimetrist & Physicist (Varian) – 2 Radiation Therapists Bread and butter Radiation Oncology with occasional IORT (Intraoperative Radiation Therapy) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary 3-year contract Fellowship stipend available CME allowance Licenses/Dues/Subscriptions allowance Physician referral program Robust benefits package (health, retirement, malpractice, etc.) About DeTar Hospital Navarro 278-bed acute care hospital Level III trauma center Advanced diagnostic imaging (64-slice CT, Open MRI) Da Vinci robotic technology Dedicated Women & Children’s Center Why Victoria, TX?
