Oak Manor is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in providing high-quality healthcare services to our elderly residents. This role is pivotal in enhancing the lives of our seniors, ensuring they receive the best care in this chapter of their life. Provide basic medical care, including monitoring residents' health, administering medications and injections, and taking vital signs. Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Collaborate with registered nurses and doctors to create tailored care plans. Maintain accurate records of residents’ conditions and progress. Communicate with family members about residents’ health and wellness. Support the wellness activities and initiatives as customized per resident needs. Participate in continuous education and training sessions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in medication administration Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations effectively Empathy and patience with senior residents Physical stamina to handle the demands of nursing care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice CPR and First Aid certifications Gerontological Nursing certification preferred
