Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Texas License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - ACLS - BLS - Texas License Description: Telemetry/Med Surge unit with an 18-40 bed capacity. Staffing varies with positions including Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, Patient Care Technician (PCT), and Unit Coordinator (UC) during day and night shifts. Patient ratios are 6:1. The unit is equipped with Baxter IV pumps and GE telemetry systems. Electronic Medical Record system used is Meditech 5.6. Candidates ideal for this role should possess skills in managing non-titrating cardiac drips. The best personality fit is easy-going, friendly, and flexible. Floating opportunities are available to Med Surge and Telemetry units. Scrub color attire is royal blue.
