be considered. A nursing opportunity is available for experienced
registered nurses specializing in acute med/surg care. This role is
based in Robstown, TX, offering a contract position with the
possibility of impactful, hands-on patient care in a dynamic
healthcare setting. The position requires candidates with at least
one year of acute medical-surgical nursing experience within the
last year, capable of managing 4 to 6 patients simultaneously.
Preferred candidates have over two years of experience caring for
neurological patients, including those with CVAs, TIAs, and altered
mental status. Key nursing skills include IV insertions, urinary
catheter care, central line maintenance, medication administration,
and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with electronic health records and procedures such as
continuous bladder irrigation and nasogastric tube care are
essential. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to acute
medical-surgical patients Monitor and manage patient conditions
while maintaining safety and comfort Perform routine nursing
procedures and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with
healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and unit guidelines
Qualifications and Experience: Current and valid RN license Minimum
1 year acute med/surg experience in the past year Ability to care
for multiple patients (4-6) concurrently Experience with
neurological patient care strongly preferred Strong critical
thinking and communication skills Positive, patient-centered, and
