expertise is needed for a contract position in Corpus Christi, TX,
working in an active emergency department and
telemetry/medical-surgical unit. This role provides care in a
fast-paced environment supporting patients with various medical and
cardiac needs. Location This opportunity is based in Corpus
Christi, a vibrant city on Texass Gulf Coast known for its

a welcoming community atmosphere. Responsibilities Deliver
comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department and
telemetry/med surge units Monitor patient conditions, particularly
those on non-titrating cardiac drips Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care Use
specialized equipment like Baxter IV pumps and GE telemetry systems
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech 5.6 EMR system Assist
with charge nurse duties as needed Adhere to unit policies and
standards, including uniform guidelines and weekend rotation
schedules Qualifications Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN)
license required ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory Experience
in emergency nursing and telemetry/med surge preferred Ability to
work flexibly in a dynamic environment Friendly, easy-going
attitude with adaptability to changing patient needs Additional
Information Patient-to-nurse ratio typically 6:1 Unit beds range
from 18 to 40 with diverse staffing on day and night shifts Royal
blue scrubs required as per dress code Weekend rotations are part
of the schedule Candidates without the required certifications will
