Located at the forefront of patient management, the coordinator will leverage clinical expertise to enhance patient flow within our facilities while ensuring optimal utilization of resources and patient satisfaction. This role demands a proactive approach to coordinating with various healthcare professionals to manage admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures effectively. The ideal candidate will act as a vital link across departments, optimizing the entire patient journey. Evaluate patient needs to prioritize daily admissions, transfers, and discharge processes. Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to streamline patient throughput. Apply knowledge of healthcare protocols to mitigate risks and enhance patient outcomes. Develop strategies to reduce patient wait times and improve satisfaction. Lead cross-departmental meetings to ensure timely communication and problem resolution. Train and mentor staff on throughput best practices. Generate reports and maintain records on patient flow statistics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively Proficient in healthcare management systems In-depth understanding of healthcare protocols and guidelines Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certification in Leadership and Management (preferred)
