Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Corpus Christi, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,619 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: Required certifications valid for the role Must-Have: Acute medical/surgical/telemetry experience of 2 years within the last year Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time Description: This position involves nursing care for medical, surgical, telemetry, orthopedic, and neurosurgery patients. The unit consists of 22 beds and requires a team of 30 staff members. The typical staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 4 registered nurses during the night shift. Patient ratios may reach a maximum of 6:1. Standard skills include IV insertions, urinary catheter management, central line maintenance, medication administration, and effective communication with the care team. Documentation in electronic health records is essential. The ideal candidate should possess a friendly, positive demeanor with a patient-centered and team-focused approach. Candidates with 2 years of neurosurgery or orthopedic nursing experience will be favored during the selection process. Flexibility for weekends and on-call duties as needed is expected.
