Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Texas requiring 1 year of recent ED experience and a compact or TX RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Emergency Department setting - Shift is 7:00 pm to 7:00 am - 13-week contract assignment - Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to a varied patient population - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment - Compliance with all assignment documentation and certification requirements is mandatory - No Canadian SSNs accepted /n /n Requirements/n - Active TX or compact RN license required - Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA or ARC - Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or approved equivalent required for all ER units - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required - NIH Stroke Scale certification required - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required - No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted) - U.S. Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration - At least one professional reference required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-669082.
