HCA Healthcare, a national leader in patient-centered care, is seeking a dynamic Nurse Manager of Emergency Services to lead our emergency department teams. The chosen candidate will be pivotal in managing nursing staff and ensuring the highest quality of care and operational efficiency in our fast-paced emergency units. The role demands proactive leadership in clinical excellence, compliance with health regulations, and promoting an environment of continuous improvement and patient safety. Manage daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and policies. Supervise, recruit, and train nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Evaluate patient care procedures and make necessary changes to improve service quality. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in emergency scenarios. Coordinate with other department managers to enhance multidisciplinary team connections and effectiveness. Develop and manage departmental budgets, optimize resource allocation and control expenses. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in nursing practices and emergency response Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively Experience in budget management and resource allocation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license required Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
