Overview / Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Instrument Air
Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate
will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and performing
routine preventive maintenance on instrument air compressor skids.
As an essential member of our team, the Instrument Air Technician
will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of
instrument air systems for our industrial clients.

Location: Kenedy, TX
Schedule: Mon-Fri; Full Time 40+ hrs a week; Please note that for
this position as it is full time and long term, it is essential
that candidates reside within a 50-mile radius of site. Since this
is a locally based schedule that permits returning home every
night, there are no provisions for man-camps or housing per

- Inspection and Assessment:
- Perform thorough inspections of instrument air compressor skids
to identify wear, damage, leaks, or any other issues.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and instruments to assess the
performance and condition of equipment.
- Routine Preventive Maintenance:
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations and guidelines for
routine preventive maintenance on instrument air compressor
- Execute tasks such as pulling oil samples, changing oil and
filters, replacing belts, and renewing desiccant material in dryer
- Corrective Maintenance Notification:
- Identify and document any corrective maintenance requirements
beyond routine tasks.
- Submit comprehensive notifications detailing the identified
issues, recommended actions, and urgency level for corrective
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance
activities, and repairs performed on instrument air compressor
- Generate detailed reports for each maintenance visit,
highlighting the tasks completed and any findings.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance
schedules, resources, and priorities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other
stakeholders regarding maintenance progress and
- Truck and Tools Management:
- Ensure the proper organization and maintenance of tools,
equipment, and inventory in the provided service truck.
- Safely transport tools and equipment to job sites, adhering to
all safety regulations and guidelines.
Ideal candidate should have experience on the folllowing and shall
provide preventive maintenance services on Client Company owned
instrument air compressor skids outlined below as defined

Skills / Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical
certifications or vocational training in mechanical or electrical
fields is advantageous.
- Proven experience as an Instrument Air Technician or in a
similar role, with a strong understanding of instrument air
- Proficiency in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as
oil changes, filter replacements, belt adjustments, and desiccant
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and instruments used to
assess equipment performance and condition.
- Ability to interpret manufacturer guidelines and technical
manuals for maintenance tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage tools, equipment, and
inventory in a service truck.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting
maintenance activities and findings.
- Effective communication skills to convey maintenance progress
and recommendations to various stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; ability to
operate a service truck safely.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that involve
lifting, bending, and using hand tools.
