This position will be responsible for warehouse maintenance and the handling of materials. This site is not accessible via public transportation; reliable transportation will be a requirementHow you'll make an impact at M-B as a Warehouse Associate:Assist with field labor readinessReceiving, handling, stocking, and organizing materialsEquipment and warehouse upkeep, maintenance and repairs.Ensure cleanliness, organization and safety of work environment. Loading and unloading deliveries.Accepting delivery of inventory.Local delivery and pickup of material as needed for projects. Counting, confirming, and documenting inventory. Inspecting inventory for damage.Communicating errors to relevant parties. Marking and labeling stock. Storing inventory in accessible manner.Completes all necessary paperwork. Miscellaneous tasks assigned by Construction ManagerContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed: may be required to help in the field as needed. What it takes to be successful as a Warehouse AssociateProven work experience in a warehouse environment is a plus, but not required Ability to operate a forklift is a plus, but on the job training and forklift certification can be provided.Ability to work in both an indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and all types of weather and temperature conditionsAbility to frequently and repeatedly lift from ground to various heights up to 50 pounds individually, and team lifting heavier items. Ability to frequently and repeatedly exert force of up to 100 poundsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to frequently walk on uneven and/or unpaved terrain Ability to frequenting climb steps, ladders and in/out/onto vehicles Ability to frequently and repeated bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, reach and crouchVisual acuity to drive motor vehicles and mobile equipment and to read printed and electronic documents.Hearing capacity to receive, perceive and react to common driving and construction environment noises. Strong verbal and written communication skills.Good organizational and time management skills.Ability to work in high pressure situations, prioritize, and meet deadlines.Self-starter with independent work ethics. Adhere to strict safety standards and procedures. Valid Texas Driver's License. Conditions of Employment:Applicant will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record Check. Satisfactory driving records are required for driving company or personal vehicles and motor driven equipment to conduct company business.Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
