An international agricultural products and services company, we handle agricultural commodities and have a diverse portfolio of products and businesses.SummaryTracks physical inventory of product, allocates inventory, and maintains accurate records to ensure quality, shelf life and tracking product. Actively involved in the company safety program and the long term and short-term goals of the department. Assist management in the decision-making process through. a.) The daily input of production data into the data collection system and b.) The preparation of reports based on production data; to ensure the quality and accuracy of production data and reports by c.) Bringing issues / problems with reported production data to the attention of management and d.) Working with production leads and supervision to minimize reporting errors.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnswers phones including fielding questions, re-directing calls and taking messages and/or orders. Maintains general company record systems to uphold accurate files. Utilizes office equipment such as printers, fax machines, etc. Operates a computer at a Medium level. Handles emails, data entry, calendar, scheduling apps and printing. Monitors stocks of office supplies, reports and re-stocks when there are shortages. Sorts and distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail, including envelopes, packages.Research and analysis of inventory transactions to ensure correct transactions were used to report inventory movements. Conducting daily and monthly cycle counts for raw materials, packaging, ingredients, and indirect suppliesCorrection of inventory transactions including the assignment of inventory batch numbers to the appropriate production order.Assist with process auditing by cross checking of paperwork to ensure accuracy, create a data trail for all production processes from receipt of raw materials to the shipment of finished goods by proper reporting of production data.Record data/information needed to provide feedback to system users to prevent reoccurring errors in reporting. Experienced in SAP and CFS Systems.Work and assist in other areas as needed. Maintains accurate records, status of orders through entire process and inventory database. Participates in inventory process and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.Minimum EducationHigh School or equivalentExperience Requirements2 -4
years related experience.
Knowledge of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.Experience PreferredShipping/Receiving/Accounting/OperationsEnvironmental Factors and Physical Requirements1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. 2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. 3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. 4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment. 5. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
