Description Senior Coastal and Natural Resources Project Manager
Position Location: Texas Do you want to have influence in your

Smith is seeking a motivated, growth oriented, Senior Coastal and
Natural Resources Project Manager for our Houston Office or Aransas
Pass Office. You will be part positive, energetic, responsive team
continuing our growth in Texas. Your Opportunity: Opportunity to
provide team leadership, professional drive, and bring your own
expertise to make an impact on our growing markets. Work with the
Environmental Lead Professional in Houston, the Environmental Leads
and Professionals across the firm, as well as our Engineering,
Surveying, and Innovative Solutions discipline leadership, to
collaboratively grow and develop T. Baker Smith in Texas, and
beyond. Ability to grow and develop yourself and your own team in
Texas. Lead/Participate in integrated, multi-disciplinary project
teams achieving the development and completion of projects.
Strengthen our existing client base and service offerings, bring in
new clients by offering our current service offerings amongst all
disciplines at TBS, and identify opportunities for growth within
the markets that we serve. Oversee management of wetland
delineations, T&E surveys and consultations, oyster, seagrass,
and other marine assessments, NEPA reviews and assessments, and the
development of regulatory-driven operational plans. Assist a team
in the development and implementation of remote sensing data
collection and evaluation, and environmental and ecological
monitoring programs. Conduct Texas General Land Office (GLO), Texas
Railroad Commission (RRC), and other local and state permitting and
compliance reporting. Provide solutions as part of a team to
clients and communities. Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor of Science Degree or above in environmental engineering,
coastal science, environmental science, geology, biology, or a
similar field. An ardent desire to grow, learn, and assist other
associates in Texas, and across the firm, as a team effort for the
development of the Environmental Discipline and the firm. 10-15
years of experience with the most recent experience in
environmental consulting and client relationships. Excellent
writing and communication skills and the ability to relate to
clients and associates at all levels of the organization.
Experience with oversight of wetland delineations, T&E surveys,
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Consultation and Permitting, and other
resource permitting, agency coordination, and consultation.
Experience in Texas GLO coastal plans and programs. Water resources
Permitting, SWPPPs, SPCC and other Operational Plans. Capability to
secure clients and opportunities will be a consideration factor.
Experience with industrial/petrochemical facility and pipeline
