This role involves providing top-notch nursing care to children with diverse needs, implementing care plans designed to meet individual health and educational goals. Provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients in school environments and home settings based on the physician’s orders and care plan. Administer medications, monitor vital signs and progress, and employ intervention techniques as needed. Document patient assessments, treatments, responses, and progress in student health records and maintaining communication with parents, teachers, and school administrators. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review and optimize patient care plans. Educate patients, families, and school personnel about health management and maintenance. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and ethical considerations. Proficiency in pediatric nursing care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to operate medical monitoring equipment Skillful in time management and ability to adapt to dynamic situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid RN license in the state of operation CPR certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is a plus
