Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leading national provider in diversified
home healthcare services, is currently seeking compassionate and
skilled Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team for
full-time or part-time day shifts. Our LVNs play a critical role in
providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes,
helping them achieve their maximum potential. As part of our
dedicated team, you will be responsible for administering
medications, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with a
multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care plans. Administer
medications and treatment to patients based on physician orders and
care plans. Monitor and record patient's condition and document
care services provided. Collaborate with physicians and registered
nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients. Educate
patients and their families on proper home health care strategies
and procedures. Perform routine checks to ensure patient safety and
comfort, and report any changes in patient's condition to
appropriate healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with all
healthcare regulations and standards. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management
skills Proficient in basic computer applications Ability to work
independently under minimal supervision In-depth knowledge of
health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation,
decontamination etc.) Hands-on experience with administering
medications and basic patient care equipment Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid state
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license CPR/BLS certification
